Shelby Baumberger, 42, of Lincoln, passed away Nov. 5, 2005.
The funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Missoula.There will be a reception after the service in the funeral homes community room.
Shelby was born Oct. 2, 1963, to Allen and Anne (Schneider) Baumberger in Rapid City, S.D.
Shelbys passions included his family, pets and the outdoors, where he loved to hunt, ski, snowmobile and ride his horses. Shelby was an excellent cook and always put the needs of others first.
He married his first wife, Sally, in 1988, in Lake Tahoe, Nev., While living in Montana, they had three wonderful children. Shelby was a wonderful father, son, brother and friend.
Shelby later met Theresa Tripp with whom he shared the last few years of his life.
He will be remembered as a friend to everyone and for the love he had for his children and family.
Shelby is survived by his daughter, Carla, and son-in-law, Robert Keeland; son, Derek, who is currently serving in the Navy; and daughter, Starla and son-in-law, Justin Thompson. He is further survived by his father and stepmother, Allen and Polly Baumberger; his mother, Anne Baumberger; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Gaylen Baumberger and Kelly Redmond, Tracy and Teresa Baumberger, and Reid and Tammy Baumberger, with their children. He also is survived by his stepsisters and their husbands, Linda and Howard Nash, and Judy and Gordy Wyman.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
