  [S8072066346] The La Porte Herald-Argus, Quad Cities, IA-IL. Catherine P. Bickers, 96, of Kewanee, died Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at Kewanee Care Nursing Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Annawan Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services. The Rev. Dan Wright will officiate. Burial will be in the Annawan Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Abilities Plus in Kewanee or to the Annawan Fire Department. The former Catherine Pearl Clementz was born March 24, 1911, in Annawan, the daughter of Charles A. and Mary L. VerBaker Clementz. She was educated in Annawan schools. Her marriage to Pete Minnaert took place Dec. 4, 1928. She later married Floyd H. Bickers on Dec. 20, 1941, in Kahoka, Mo. He died April 21, 1988. Catherine was a homemaker and enjoyed bingo, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Beatrice and Eldred Shaw, Annawan, Lois and Richard Gibson, Kewanee; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
