  !NOTES: Published the Cottonwood Current, a country newspaper in conjunction with his father, mother and brother, Keith. He was known as Ward Sisson. Like his brother Keith, he suffered from multiple dystrophy and during his last years at home was confined to a wheelchair. His last year and a half was spent a Granite Falls at a nursing home, where he was a great favorite and his weekly column in the Granite Falls Tribune, describing life in the "manor", was eagerly awaited by the residents.
